Withania somnifera (Ashwgandha), Centella asiatica, Bacopa monnieri, and Mucuna pruriens are considered to be brain tonic and classified as Rasayanas. Rasayanas are considered to rejuvenate nervous system and promote tranquility. Berberis aristata supports and balances neurotransmitters productions.
