• Vitamin A. A free radical scavenger, vitamin A's roles in health and physiology are numerous.* The blend of Betatene natural mixed carotenoids and Vitamin A Palmitate in Support Anti-Ox is balanced to support easy absorption. As an energy carrier, the CoQ10 molecule continuously goes through an oxidation-reduction cycle. As it accepts electrons, it becomes reduced. As it gives up electrons, it becomes oxidized. In its reduced form, the CoQ10 molecule holds electrons rather loosely, so this Coenzyme Q molecule will easily give up one or both electrons and thus act as an antioxidant.
